General Safety information
The oil is phototoxic. Meaning, an exposure to UV rays should be avoided within 24 hours after topical application. The furcoumarins made the oil phototoxic. The furcoumarins are known photosensitizers that causes irregular pigmentation and potential burning of the skin if exposed to the sun within a few hours after use.
